Bathroom Renovations in Orléans

Bath Planet Ottawa renovates bathrooms for homeowners throughout Orléans, from tub-to-shower conversions to complete remodels. Jeff Billard, our owner, comes to your home for a free consult and gives you a clear quote. We take every bathroom back to the studs so nothing old gets hidden behind the new walls.

The bathroom you have versus the one you need now

A lot of the Orléans homeowners we talk to have lived in their houses for years. The kids have moved out, and the family bathroom is now used by one or two people. The question becomes simple: does this room still work for us?

For many people the answer is to replace the tub with a walk-in shower. Others want to keep a bath for the grandkids and just make it safer with a grab bar and a better surround. Both are reasonable. Jeff will walk through the pros and cons with you rather than push one option.

How the work gets done

Once you've approved the design, our crew removes the old walls and fixtures completely. Our certified plumbers and electricians handle what's behind the walls, then new drywall and waterproofing go in. The finished shower uses Bath Planet acrylic walls, which have no grout lines and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty, plus Moen fixtures and Fleurco glass.

Most installs take 2 to 7 days. Melissa keeps you posted on the schedule so you know when the crew is coming and when water will be off.

Serving Orléans and the east end

Orléans is a big community, stretching along the Ottawa River in the city's east end, with homes built over several decades. Whether your house is in one of the older streets or a newer subdivision, the in-home consult is the same: we look at your actual bathroom, not a template. We also work in nearby east-end communities like Blackburn Hamlet, Navan and Cumberland, and further out in Rockland and Russell and Embrun. Elsewhere in the city? See our Ottawa bathroom renovations page.
