Bathtub Replacement & Tub Renovation in Ottawa

Keep the comfort of a bath without living with a stained, cracked or outdated tub. Bath Planet Ottawa replaces bathtubs and acrylic surrounds back to the studs — family-run, honest quotes, and a free in-home consult with Jeff.

Who a tub renovation is for

A bathtub replacement fits Ottawa homeowners who still use (or want) a bath, but whose current tub or surround is past its best. Common reasons we hear:

The enamel is stained, chipped or cold underfoot
Grout and caulk keep failing around a tile surround
You want a deeper, more comfortable tub in the same footprint
You’re renovating the bathroom but still prefer a bath over a shower-only setup

If you’d rather switch to a walk-in shower instead, see our tub-to-shower conversions (starting at $7,499).

How we replace a bathtub

Free in-home consult. Jeff measures, photos the room and talks through style, height and accessibility needs.
Back to the studs. We remove the old tub and walls so we can check plumbing and framing — we don’t liner over problems.
New waterproofing and Bath Planet acrylic walls. Grout-free surrounds that are easy to clean, with patterns that fit your home.
Quality fixtures. Tubs and glass from Fleurco, faucets from Moen, accessories from Invisia when you want grab bars or seating that don’t look clinical.

Bathrooms only — that’s all we do

Bath Planet Ottawa is a bathroom renovation company. We don’t remodel kitchens, basements or whole homes. Every project on this page is a bathroom: tub, surround, related fixtures and finishes.

Serving Ottawa and nearby communities

Serving Ottawa, Orléans, Barrhaven, Kanata, Nepean, Stittsville, Manotick and surrounding areas. We work in houses and condos — tell us about your layout at the consult.

Frequently asked questions

Do you install soaker or alcove tubs?

We help you choose a tub that fits the space and how you use it. Jeff will confirm options that work with your plumbing and framing during the consult.

Can you match my vanity and flooring?

Full bathroom packages can include vanity, flooring and lighting. For a tub-focused job we’ll still make sure the surround and finishes look intentional next to what stays.
